About us

Northern Print is a gallery and printmaking studio, we're located in the heart of Newcastle's Ouseburn Valley, just a few minutes from the city centre.

Opening times

Studio is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and until 8.45pm on Wednesday evenings.

Gallery is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 12 noon until 4pm or by appointment.

At the heart of Northern Print is a printmaking studio that anyone can register to use. It’s a welcoming space with professional facilities and technical support. For those that want to learn printmaking or develop their skills we have a programme of printmaking classes and courses.

Our gallery showcases the very best in contemporary printmaking with a huge selection of prints to see and buy. We love printmaking and our passionate about sharing our enthusiasm, knowledge and skills. Why not come to one of our events to find out more?

Northern Print supports artists and is not-for-profit. We receive regular funding from Arts Council England and have been successful in becoming part of Arts Council’s National Portfolio. The gallery programme if funded by Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. We have also received funding from the Newcastle Fund for projects in 2011/12.
