Imi Maufe

Imi Maufe studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK (1999) and UWE, Bristol, UK (2004).

She has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally, exhibitions have included 'Raffle Tickets and Midges', Highgreen, (2008); 'Wearing Typewriters', Arnolfini, Bristol, UK (2007); 'Inkubater', Edinburgh Printmakers Gallery, Scotland (2007); 'Finding Gloves', Bonhoga Gallery, Shetland, Scotland (2005).

Commissions include: Bank on the Map, Hendon Beach, Sunderland, UK (2009); New Shetland Museum, Scotland (2005); Bristol Royal Children's Hospital, UK (2001). She was selected to show her work as part of the Northern Print Biennale 2009 and was commissioned to produce a screenprint, 'Passport to Print'.

Collections of book artwork include: British Library; Dean Clough Archive, UK; Louisiana State University, USA; Tate Collection, UK. Lives and works in Bergen, Norway.
