It's all change....

21 April 2015

Spring is a time for renewal and this is certainly true this year at Northern Print as we undergo a transformation.

The gallery is now closed for building works, but printmaking in the studio and the exhibition tour continues.

We’ve turned off the gallery spotlights, packed away the beautiful prints and the gallery will now be closed to visitors until the beginning of June as we welcome a team of builders to the space. The studio will be open for studio users and classes through the building works.

We’re delighted to announce that thanks to capital funding from Arts Council England and others we are able to make improvements to our facilities which will take place throughout 2015.

During phase one of the project we will be opening the loft space as an archive for our prints and those of celebrated modernist Swedish printmaker Birgit Skiöld. We will also be improving the gallery space and editioning studio.

Please note that we will be open for The Late Shows in May where you can take part in printmaking activities in the studio and join us under the stars for an outdoor event.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our new look gallery in June when we’ll be opening with an exhibition by Humberto Valdez as part of the Vamos Festival.  Check out our what's on pages on for more details...
