NORTHERN PRINT PRESENTS ‘MAKING A MARK’

“Printmaking allows the work a less infinite reproduction, the trace of a single line in time which extends beyond the interface of plate and paper, out and on.”
Antony Gormley OBE

The ‘Making a Mark’ exhibition runs from 1st November 2006 until 7th January 2007.

This show marks the opening of Northern Print’s new Ouseburn Valley home and will present the very best contemporary print work by sixteen artists from around the world including Thérèse Oulton, Rachel Whiteread, Antony Gormley OBE, Anya Gallaccio and Norman Ackroyd. It’s a clear demonstration of what making prints means to artists working today and the diversity of approaches and outcomes that printmaking offers.

Admission is FREE to all exhibitions at Northern Print.
