How the studio works.
Our studio is one of the most well-equipped and easy to use in the British Isles. Our printmaking facilities, specialist materials and technical support are available to all
We work on a membership system. Our members enjoy subsidised access to professional printmaking facilities. They also receive technical support for screen printing, relief printing, etching and have the use of a darkroom. Membership for a year costs £40 or £20 concessions.
We also have a separate editioning studio and an education studio.
Membership is open to everyone. It doesn't matter if you have no previous experience of printmaking. If that's you, we have classes and courses where you'll gain the skills you'll need to work in the studio.
If you're a new member who already has experience in printmaking, you just need to book an introductory session. This takes you through the facilities and shows you how to use them. Members pay session fees each time they use the studio. These fees make a contribution towards the running costs and consumable materials associated with running the printmaking facilities.
A range of professional quality materials are also provided in the studio with a range of high quality printmaking papers and other materials available for sale at a very competitive retail price.
Studio session times are:
Sunday and Monday - Closed
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10am - 1pm & 2 - 5pm
Thursday 10am - 1pm, 2 - 5pm & 6 - 9pm
